The Jammu and Kashmir governments on Friday directed district magistrates or deputy commissioners to “take over” 215 colleges. It was “instantly or not directly affiliated” with the prohibited Jamaat e Islami or its Farah Airm Belief (FAT) in accordance with the Intelligence Company.

“Within the train of powers awarded by the governments of Jammu and Kashmir, it’s hereby ordered to guard the tutorial future of scholars registered in these colleges: the 215 colleges’ administration committees are involved, after which the boards of concern work collectively, via the faculties of concern.
