Indian authorities capital expenditure will increase nearly 4.2 instances: research
- Authorities of India’s capital expenditure elevated nearly 4.2 instances from Rs 2,630 crore in FY18 to Rs 11,210,000 crore in FY26 (BE), with efficient capital expenditure of Rs 15,480 crore in FY26 (BE), positioning infrastructure as a key progress driver, the research stated.
The nationwide freeway infrastructure has expanded considerably, with the NH community rising by about 60% from 91,287 km (FY 2014) to 1,46,572 km (FY 2026, until December), and the operational high-speed corridors rising from 550 km (FY 2014) to five,364 km (FY 2026, until December), nearly 10%. It has doubled.
Railway infrastructure continues to increase, with the railway community reaching 69,439 route kilometers as of March 2025, with a further goal of three,500 kilometers set for 2026, and 99.1% electrification achieved by October 2025.
India has emerged because the world’s third-largest home aviation market, with the variety of airports rising from 74 in 2014 to 164 in 2025, the research added.
India grew to become the fourth nation to realize Autonomous Satellite tv for pc Docking (SpaDeX) and strengthened its house infrastructure with growth of indigenous missions and elevated personal sector participation.
