IndiGo on December 25 launched day by day direct flights between Mangaluru Worldwide Airport (MgIA) and Navi Mumbai Worldwide Airport (NMIA), marking the beginning of economic connectivity to India’s latest greenfield airport.
With this opening, MgIA joins a choose group of airports throughout the nation to be linked to NMIA from day one in all operations, with Navi Mumbai rising because the second airport to serve the Mumbai Metropolitan Area (MMR).
