Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday (July 30, 2026) introduced that its Hansalpur, Gujarat-based manufacturing facility has achieved an annual manufacturing capability of 1 million items, making it Suzuki’s largest passenger automotive manufacturing facility on this planet.
With the beginning of manufacturing on the fourth plant (Plant D) in Hansalpur, Maruti Suzuki’s complete manufacturing capability throughout Haryana and Gujarat has elevated to 2.9 million items yearly.
The auto main introduced that it has invested a complete of Rs 25,288.7 million within the 640-acre Hansalpur facility. This contains an funding of round Rs 3,900 crore in Plant D.
